The Australian Sparkling Ale has a rich history down-under, after all, it’s our only ‘native born’ style. There are a few tasty examples in the market today and we think ours tucks in nicely.
Specialty pale malts lend a golden hue, chewy bread-like characters, and a rocky head of foam. It’s a good-looking beer, so get it into a glass (or b’day cup) for a squiz.
Aussie hops ‘Galaxy’ and ‘Pride of Ringwood’ are showcased nicely, gifting herbaceous notes and a welcome lick of bitterness. The Swiss yeast strain offers peppery esters, too.
We gave it a proper carb, so (along with a moreish taste) you’ll score that trademark sparkle on the tongue. How good.
Malt: Pilsner Malt, Wheat Malt, Munich Malt
