We were on a mission in 2018, and that mission was (quite literally) clear. With the ‘haze craze’ in full swing, we figured this liquid would set things straight – a NEIPA style beer, filtered to the shit house, then spritzed to keep things tight.
Unfazed by the Haze launched alongside its roastier companion, Black, in somewhat nomadic fashion – MC and JC took a whirlwind tour of the country, sharing both new releases feverishly along the way.
Their final stop: our 3rd birthday at the Gilbert Street Hotel, where a few thousand legends were waiting to sample the goods.
What they scored was a mouthful of juicy NZ and US hops, all jammed into a beaming orange brew. It wasn’t hazy, and it didn’t matter; we’d fashioned something unique.
And the punters were anything but unfazed…
