This Imperial IPA is bold, flavoursome, and champions ingredients from either side of the Tasman. Hops are central, with characterful New Zealand and Australian strains joining forces to get the job done.
South Aussie Pale Malt forms the base, while specialty grains from NZ’s Gladfield Malt add layers of complexity. It’s a suitable chassis and one needed to withstand the hoppy barrage.
Expect a crystal clear pour and autumn orange hue. Aromas of tinned fruit salad and blackcurrant juice dart from the collar, which settles thick and white. On the palate, find candied nectarine, sturdy bitterness, and an abundance of Trans-Tassie charm.
